Dr. Douglas Dockery is a 2000 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now known as Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Dockery completed his residency at the University Hospital Health Systems in Cleveland Ohio, and is trained in forefoot and rear foot reconstructive foot surgery and diabetic limb salvage. He is board certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery. He has been published for his work with diabetic wound healing, and has presented his work with cartilage replacement at the International Cartilage Repair Society. Dr. Dockery has also been recognized for his work with the Department of Veterans Affairs at a national level for his work with the Information Technology Conference for VA virtual hospitals. Dr. Dockery has held many academic affiliations (Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine) and still continues to teach podiatric and medical residents.
